Bandipora, Jul 08 (KNO): Nasoou-Mini secretariat road which suffered damages due to incessant rains three months ago, has not been repaired yet, residents said. Locals told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that the road was damaged due to incessant rains three months ago and has been closed since then. “We now have to travel long distances and spend more on fuel just to reach our respective destinations due to the closure of the road,” said Abdul Aziz of Nasoo. He said that the traffic that used to flow through the stretch is now being diverted through the main town resulting in a massive traffic jam. “We urge the administration to prioritize the repair and swift restoration of this important stretch. The prolonged inconvenience and suffering of the residents cannot be ignored any longer,” Bashir Ahmad, another resident said. An official acknowledged the inconvenience caused and assured that they will restore the road soon—(KNO)
